Irvine Memorial Locations
The Irvine Family now operate two funeral establishments in the area. Irvine Funeral Home, Chapel and Reception Centre, located in downtown Brockville is known for its charming surroundings as it is located in one of Brockville's oldest residences. It has been continually upgraded and expanded over the years to serve the present day needs of area families.
In 1999, the Irvine Family established the Upper Canada Cemetery Company Ltd. and acquired Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Maitland. Major investment in this property resulted in a complete facility on the grounds of the cemetery along with a crematorium and indoor columbarium. Due to the completion of new legislation governing funeral services, the Irvine Memorial Chapel and Reception Centre is now a licensed full service funeral establishment. It is one of the region's most spacious and contemporary options and the only Leeds and Grenville funeral home with its own crematorium.
Combined with facilities at Maitland is Roselawn Memorial Gardens, a thirty-acre cemetery originally established in 1955. A picturesque and meticulously maintained property, Roselawn offers a wide range of choices including both indoor and outdoor columbarium structures and upright monuments.
Irvine Funeral Home Brockville
Since 1973, the Irvine Family and their staff have served families from Brockville and surrounding area from their funeral home at 4 James Street East in Downtown Brockville.
Irvine Memorial Chapel Maitland
The Irvine Memorial Chapel and Reception Centre is our new funeral home located on the grounds of Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Maitland.
To better address the needs of families they wanted to ensure that this service was locally available and in 2002 established Roselawn Crematorium. Prior to this, the choice of cremation for area families involved transportation out of town, in some cases to rather industrial-styled facilities.
Roselawn Memorial Gardens
One of the most meticulously maintained cemeteries in the region, Roselawn encompasses over thirty acres, only about half of which has been developed. While originally known as a "memorial garden" designed property with only flat memorials, traditional lots are now available upon which an upright monument may be placed.
